Huge Snubs in the Western Conference All-Star Reserves
First off Steve Nash was not selected, his numbers are down from last year so what, David West's Numbers are down as well just because another forward might be needed doesn't mean a guard should get snubbed Al Jefferson should have been selected over West but that's another debate.
Lets compare the numbers:
Tony Parker - G San Antonio
20.4 PPG 6.6 AST .49% FG can't put up a 3 to save his life
Steve Nash - G Phoenix Suns
13.9 PPG 9.4 AST .48%FG 1.6 3's a game
Alright looking at the numbers Parker is better
Parker was out with an injury for an extended period of time. Who the hell is deciding the reserves, All of France? It's a game for the fans and the fans want to see one of the best point guards in the NBA. Who wants to see Tony Parker pass Duncan the ball the lane and watch Duncan Post? The most boring offense in all of Basketball if I wanted to see good fundamental basketball I'd watch Women's Basketball.
A better arguement is for Jason Kidd of the Mavericks.
A guy almost average a triple double. His numbers have gone down in recent years but Kidd is still playing at an elite level in Dallas and has even stepped up his defense with 2nd place in steals. Another elite point guard fans would rather see distributing the ball over Tony Parker.
